Photo Finds: Art of Animation’s Little Mermaid, new book on Epcot’s first 30 Years – Sept. 18, 2012

By Kevin Yee

The fourth and final wing of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort has opened, themed to The Little Mermaid. We take a photo tour and poke our heads inside a room, plus travel around all four parks to see what’s new (such as the castle wall for New Fantasyland, now uncovered and touchable).

Lastly, your host has written a 158-page book of color photos showing the history of Epcot and its development over the years in honor of Epcot’s 30th anniversary this year. It’s available for sale at Amazon.

  1. Hi, Kevin:

I loved the shots of The Art of Animation’s The Litte Mermaid wing. It’s a lovely section of the resort. Coloring is as beautiful as Finding Nemo’s and Cars’. Is the Mermaid pool much smaller than Nemo’s?

Congratulations on the Epcot book. How about making a book with images from all resorts within WDW (even non-Disney properties)?
