Photo/Video Update: Infinity Falls raft ride coming to life at SeaWorld Orlando

A look at the record-breaking drop element for Infinity Falls at SeaWorld Orlando.

We recently got to head behind the construction walls of SeaWorld Orlando’s Infinity Falls raft ride to learn more details about the experience and see the progress on the ride opening later this summer.

Infinity Falls construction tour and ride details - SeaWorld Orlando

Aboard the ride, guests will embark on a 5-minute adventure through a lush rainforest environment inspired by some of the world’s freshwater ecosystems. The attraction will feature the world’s tallest drop on a river raft ride and allow visitors to experience the feel of world-class rapids. The ride will also feature an elevator lift designed to transport the rafts to the top of the ride’s 40-foot drop in 5 seconds.

Infinity Falls will be the first attraction at SeaWorld to tell a story beyond the ocean and share a message of water conservation through the adventure of a white-water river expedition. The attraction will be the centerpiece of a newly themed area designed to resemble the basecamp of explorers and scientists.

After riding Infinity Falls, the entire family can explore the village, shop at Whitewater Supply, take part in interactive experiences that combine play with education to create a positive impact on freshwater ecosystems, grab a bite to eat inside Waterway Grill, or even have an up-close encounter with one of SeaWorld’s Animal Ambassadors that are native to South America.

Check out our construction photos below, and catch the June 21, 2018 episode of The Attractions Show for a closer look at Infinity Falls, opening this summer at SeaWorld Orlando.
