Disney ride photos and videos now automatically added to guests’ MagicBands

It’s now easier to receive an on-ride photo or video at Walt Disney World. All you have to do is enjoy the ride while wearing a MagicBand!

Disney PhotoPass has now rolled out a system where guests wearing an active MagicBand on attractions featuring ride photos or videos will have those photos automatically added to their My Disney Experience account. No additional steps are required other than logging on to purchase the photos.

If you do not have a MagicBand, there will be special touch points installed at certain attractions (Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom already installed) where you can associate your ride photo with your My Disney Experience account with your park ticket or Memory Maker card. The other three parks will have touch points installed by mid-November.

For ride videos from Tower of Terror and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, even though you will be able to view the video online, you must have a Memory Maker account to download it.
