Photos from the last day of Star Wars Weekends 2009

Star Wars Weekends has come and gone for another year. I didn’t get to go as much as I would have liked this year. We visited on the first day and showed you some pictures and videos of the Celebrity Motorcade and the Star Wars dance-off known as Hyperspace Hoopla. Here we present some pictures from the final day of the event on Sunday.

I’m not sure who all these characters are supposed to be, but these park guests were hanging out on Hollywood Boulevard by the Photopass photographer having their pictures taken with guests. I think many guests didn’t realize they were posing with other guests.

The Cantina Band members were hanging out with guests near the Star Tours ride. Some were leaning against railings with guests, as if they were in a casual conversation, and others were picking flowers and giving them to guests. I have a feeling the last day of the event is more relaxed for the characters.

The amount of detail Disney puts into the characters is amazing.

After all these years of going, I still find it funny to see the “bad guys” signing autograph books.

Two Jawas were trading various items with guests. I saw them trading a plastic fork for an empty bag, a dryer sheet for a bottle cap, etc. Whatever you could find to give them, they’d dig in their satchels and hand you something in return. They also had fun playing with kids hats.
