Pride is Universal at Universal Studios Hollywood

LA Pride is partnering with Universal Studios Hollywood for an after-hours separately ticketed Pride Is Universal event on June 15, 2024.

During the park’s regular operating hours, party guests will have access to rides and attractions. Additional after-hours elements include select attractions (including Super Nintendo World), dining, and shopping plus live DJs, dance areas, Universal character meet-and-greets, photo ops, cash bars, and a live show featuring DJ Brynn Taylor, Morgan McMichaels from “Ru Paul’s Drag Race,” and more.

There’s something for everyone here creating a true sense of community to celebrate Pride.”  

New This Year for Pride Is Universal

Two new elements guests can enjoy at this year’s event are a prom-themed experience for guests of all ages, including live DJs, dancing under the stars, and prom-themed decor with photo ops, plus an early-hours Kids Club with live music, park characters, and family-friendly activities.

Pride is Universal general admission tickets include entry to the theme park starting at 4 p.m. with exclusive extended park hours from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. A VIP Universal Express ticket provides access to the park at 2 p.m., plus Universal Express access to select attractions, premium viewing areas at the main stage, and exclusive access to the LA Pride VIP Lounge. Pride Is Universal is open to all ages (photo ID required for cash bar access). 

Pride is Universal is a fundraiser for Christopher Street West, the nonprofit organization that produces the LA Pride Parade, Pride in the Park, and many other LA Pride events. A portion of your ticket purchase goes to the community programs they produce, sponsor, and support all year long.

Pride Is Universal will take place on June 15, 2024, from 4 p.m. (2 p.m. for VIP) until 2 a.m. A limited number of pre-sale general admission tickets are available at $139 (plus fees)—$15 less than the Front Gate price.
