Red Roof offering day rates for those wanting a home away from home office

In response to the global health crisis, and the disruption it has caused for those who now have to work from home, Red Roof is now offering day rates to help you find a ‘home away from home’ office.

With the closures of non-essential businesses across the country, including coffee shops, co-working spaces and libraries, many people are trying to find a dedicated space at home to work and still practice social distancing.

Through Red Roof’s “Work Under Our Roof” program, you can enjoy a safe, convenient and comfortable workspace at select properties Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. with same-day check-in and check-out — and rates start at just $29.

“An unprecedented number of workers are now required to work remotely and options are very limited during this time. With locations in major cities nationwide, we are opening our doors to help Americans find a solution that works best for them and allows them to continue their professional obligations close to home,” said Marina MacDonald, chief marketing officer for Red Roof. “The ‘Work Under Our Roof’ day rate provides a private and dedicated space to help those who may not have at-home offices or spaces conducive to working from home.”

The rooms include free Wi-Fi and a communication package that features free local and long-distance calls, fax, flat-screen TVs and a workstation, as well as complimentary in-room coffee in most rooms. In addition, one well-behaved domestic pet — car or dog — is welcome to come along for free. No more than two guests are allowed to check-in to any one room with the day rate offer, and this offer cannot be used to host meetings.

Guests can book this special day rate now through May 15 and secure their “workspaces” anytime through May 31. RediRewards and non-members are both eligible for this offer.
