Ring in 2023 at Knott’s one-night-only New Year’s Eve Celebration
Knott’s Berry Farm — known as Knott’s Merry Farm during this festive time of year — in Buena Park, Calif., will host a New Year’s Eve party with family-friendly entertainment and fireworks Dec. 31, 2022.
By day, guests can enjoy the seasonal offerings as part of Merry Farm’s lineup of experiences, which runs through Jan. 8. Beginning at nightfall, for one night only, Knott’s New Year’s Eve Celebration will transform the park, complete with party hats and noisemakers just for the occasion.
A variety of live music will fill the evening, including Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies (at Wagon Camp), PianoMania Dueling Pianos (at Boardwalk BBQ), and pop/rock group Mic Dangerously and the Royal We (at Calico Mine Stage).
Want to dance on New Year’s Eve? No matter your style, the party will host two unique dancing opportunities. The Jitterbug Pop Swing Band and the Jitterbug Jumpers will perform at the Boardwalk Ballroom as dance instructors teach guests how to join in on the vintage swing dancing style. Meanwhile, DJ Howley sets the scene for guests to dance to upbeat tunes at the Calico Mine Stage.
Also as part of the night’s festivities, comedian Chipper Lowell will perform a family-friendly show (at the Bird Cage Theater), the Peanuts will greet guests in special party attire (near Calico Mine Stage), and Spur’s Restaurant will hold a walk-up-only New Year’s Eve buffet. When the clock strikes 12, the Midnight Fireworks Spectacular will celebrate the arrival of 2023.
