As 2019 nears its end, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is ready to celebrate the New Year with a lineup of festivities.
Next year will be filled with new attractions, events, and more for guests to enjoy at the park – including the highly-anticipated spring opening of Iron Gwazi, North America’s tallest hybrid coaster and the fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in the world.

New Year’s Celebrations – Dec. 31
Guests can celebrate New Year’s Eve by enjoying the wintry fun of Christmas Town, ride the park’s roller coasters, and head to the Festival Field to enjoy live DJ and band performances starting at 10 p.m. and a fireworks display at midnight.
Three Kings Day – Jan. 6, 2020
Park guests can enjoy the final day of Christmas Town and the celebration of Three Kings Day. Visit the three wise men in person for song-filled storytelling and enjoy Busch Gardens’ take on traditional dishes like tres leches cake and pulled pork hash.
Real Music, Real Masters – Jan. 7 – March 15, 2020
Busch Gardens’ longest-running concert series returns with guest favorites and new acts. Inside the Stanleyville Theater, guests can enjoy live performances spanning from the 1950s to today, including:
- Jan. 7-12: Leonard, Coleman and Blunt: Former Lead Singers of the Temptations, Platters and Drifters
- Jan. 14-19: The Diamonds
- Jan. 21-26: BJ Thomas (NEW)

Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekends – Feb. 1-16
Join this furry pirate crew for a paRrrr-ty you won’t want to miss! Families can enjoy special character encounters, themed storytime, treasure hunts, and dance parties during this year’s Sesame Street Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekends. New for this year, on Feb. 1-2, families can meet Aloysius Snuffleupagus, known best as Snuffy, during the first-ever Snuffy Weekend. The party begins each Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area of the park.
Mardi Gras Weekend – Feb. 22-23
Let the good times roll with limited-time food, cocktails, entertainment and live music – all Mardi Gras style! Head to Moroccan Palace Plaza for the fun.
Food & Wine Festival – Feb. 29 – April 26
The sixth-annual Food & Wine Festival returns for new weekends of fun and food with friends and family. Guests can enjoy new dishes, as well as a large selection of wines, craft brews, and cocktails. While indulging in these eats and treats, guests can enjoy performances from some of the biggest names in music at Festival Field. All concerts are included with regular theme park admission.
