New poster revealed for ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ at D23 Expo 2019

During this morning’s Walt Disney Studios panel at D23 Expo 2019, fans were treated to a first look at the new Star Wars film, “The Rise of Skywalker.”

Attendees were treated to an appearance by nearly the entire cast, director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. The panel also included never-before-seen footage, which showed our heroine Rey in black robes with a double-bladed, red lightsaber. The sizzle reel shown will be available online starting Monday, Aug. 26.

Also saw a red-eyed C-3PO, Ray fighting Kylo surrounded by water. A sky full of Star Destroyers. Ray throwing her lightsaber through a forest chopping through trees. #statwars
