The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes has announced a $30 million renovation that will feature refined accommodations, a new luxury pool and cabanas, and an updated Club Lounge.
Set to be complete in February 2021, the 582 guest rooms will be inspired by the natural beauty of the property’s landscaped grounds, wildlife-filled water and surrounding habitats. Each room will feature added technology touchpoints, including higher-quality internet speed and more user-friendly outlet placements.
Guests will be welcomed into their room with a marine-inspired courtesy ledge and curated artwork that alludes to the gentle slices of local life. These inspired design elements continue throughout the guest room with upholstered wall panels, bedside lighting diffused with linen lampshades, and globe-shaped-cut-glass pendants dangling from the ceiling. Artwork in the room will feature photographic images of natural movement and stillness on water and the open skies above Florida.
Continuing with the nature theme, the layered stone countertop minibar features a cabinet design that resembles a fishing basket. The room’s custom furniture includes upholstered and wooden chairs, a stuffed couch, and chaise lounge highlighted with warm tones and rich finishes. The wall-to-wall carpeting has a custom pattern that will complement the other aspects of the room. In the bathrooms, guests will find a double vanity sink, marble flooring and splashguards, a roomy tub with shower, and a separate water closet.
After the guest rooms are completed, The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes will also be renovating its pool and cabanas and the Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge. This project will be completed by March 2021.
