Roof Walk and Zip Line coming to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi adds two new state-of-the-art attractions to its thrilling lineup with their Roof Walk and Zip Line experiences, the first of their kind on leisure- and entertainment-based Yas Island.

Starting Nov. 5, visitors to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi can scale the park’s iconic red roof for a breathtaking walking tour with an unrivaled view over Yas Island.

A new Zip Line experience also opens on Nov. 5, upping the adrenaline factor as guests launch from the heart of the park and straight through one of the Flying Aces roller coaster’s loops. Those of a competitive nature can even race each other onboard the zip line’s dual challenge.

Each experience requires a separate fee beyond general admission, or guests can purchase a combo ticket and try both.

As we hit our phenomenal 10-year milestone we have evolved so much at the Park, but one thing that hasn’t changed is our promise to continuously elevate our world-class guest experience. We can’t wait for our guests to experience it all and create unforgettable memories at the Ferrari-inspired Park.”

Along with the Roof Walk and Zip Line, Ferrari World features more than 43 attractions and exciting shows in 4 Zones, from the kid-friendly Family  Zone with its play area, simulators, and junior-sized rides, to the high-thrills F1 Zone, Italian Zone, and Adventure Zone featuring mega-coaster Flying Aces, the scare-fest of Turbo Track launch coaster’s vertical climb and zero-gravity fall, and the spectacular Formula Rossa, the “world’s fastest roller coaster,” which reaches 150 miles per hour in just 5 seconds.

Need something a bit tamer?  Climb into a small-scale Ferrari 250 California, circa 1958, for a tour of “mini Italy” at the Bell’ Italia attraction, take in a show, or stroll through Galleria Ferrari and marvel at the park’s collection of “hypercars.”

Dining is offered at four locations, including signature Italian restaurant Mamma Rossella, known for its authentic pizzas and pasta. Also new this year is a kid’s menu designed with youngsters’ tastes in mind.

Some attractions, shows, and select shopping and dining outlets may be closed or modified until further notice.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has been awarded the “Go Safe” certification by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and stringent precautionary measures are in place so that all guests can enjoy the park and its attractions safely.

New protocols include mandatory online ticket purchases, theme park reservations to allow for limited daily capacity, thermal screening cameras, mandatory face masks, physical distancing, contactless payments, and modified ride capacity. Shops and dining outlets also adhere to limited capacities, and hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the park.

Guests without face coverings can purchase race-themed reusable masks online when purchasing tickets.
