The Disney Parks Blog announced today that Rosita, the starlet cockatoo from Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, is setting off on her solo career at The Tropical Hideaway, opening later this year.

After years of performances with the bird mobile chorus, Rosita is spreading her wings and chasing her dream of going solo. Guests will be able to see the Rosita Audio-Animatronic on the river’s edge at the loading dock, waiting for her boat to arrive. Feel free to say hello if you stop by, but beware! She’s got plenty of jokes and one-liners worthy of any Jungle Cruise Skipper.
This new Adventureland outpost will be an exotic marketplace filled with unique food and beverages to discover, as well as colorful wildlife encounters.
