Royal Caribbean’s Universal Orlando package offers land and sea deals from both coasts of Florida

Royal Caribbean and Universal Orlando are now offering packages from both the East Coast and the West Coast of Florida. The land and sea vacation packages combine a three- or four-night stay at Universal Orlando Resort with a three- or four-night Bahamas cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Monarch of the Seas, a four- or five-night Western Caribbean cruise aboard Jewel of the Seas or a seven-night Eastern or Western Caribbean cruise aboard Freedom of the Seas.

The package includes hotel and shipboard accommodations, multi-day passes to both Universal theme parks, complimentary admission to select live entertainment venues at CityWalk and ground transfers between airport, hotel, theme parks and the ship port.

With the addition of Jewel of the Seas, which begins homeporting seasonally in Tampa starting November 2011, the two companies are providing families with options to combine the best of land and sea into one vacation while enjoying significant savings. Guests choosing to stay at one of Universal’s three on-site hotels also will enjoy included Universal Express ride access to skip the regular lines at both theme parks.

For the cruise portion of the vacation, guests may enjoy Broadway-style musical revues and entertainment; Vegas-style gaming in Casino Royale; and an onboard spa. Younger guests can hang out with their peers in the cruise line’s Adventure Ocean youth program, where teens have their own dedicated space. New features in the complimentary onboard youth program, such as extended hours in the Adventure Ocean and teen spaces and pre-cruise ordering of baby supplies, will help provide a stress-free experience for parents.
