Run through Disney at home with RunTheImpossible’s treadmill video series
Any theme park fan would quickly tell you how much they miss going to the parks while they’re closed — but what about those who use the theme parks to stay active and healthy? That’s where the RunTheImpossible treadmill video series comes in.

With these videos, you can hop on your treadmill, set up your phone or tablet, and pretend you’re right back in the magic taking a steady run through your favorite Disney parks.
Their treadmill series playlist includes all four Walt Disney World parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure, and the Disney resorts are even represented by Disney’s Art of Animation. For those fond of Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Cay 5K, there’s a video for that too!
You can control the pace of your run by adjusting the video speed settings directly through YouTube, offering you the magical views you seek at your preferred running pace.

Created by Katie Weber and Spencer Coleman, these videos are a great way for fans to stay active while being socially distant at home and still get their theme park “fix” — which is exactly what they hope to do with their videos.
“We miss our Disney home and feel so sad for everyone with canceled travel plans. These Disney treadmill videos are a great way to virtually visit the parks,” said Weber. “Families can walk in their living rooms to get some steps in for the day, and runners can complete their training miles with a little extra magic!”
“Our whole goal is to make exercise and running more fun! We run all of our races in costume and promote an inclusive and fun running environment. We were inspired by a desire to make our personal at-home runs on the treadmill a little less dull,” said Weber. “We love the runDisney races and wish we could run inside the parks all year long! With our Disney Treadmill videos, it really feels like we can. Plus, if we are missing our Disney home, we can still walk through the parks from the comfort of our living room.”
As for future additions to their treadmill series, Weber says that plans are already in the works:
“We absolutely want to create more treadmill videos! First, we’ll visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios to showcase the new Galaxy’s Edge addition to the park. In the fall, we’ll visit Disneyland Paris to showcase their two parks as well. We also hope to add more holiday overlays in the Halloween and Christmas seasons.”
The RunTheImpossible channel also has plenty of vlogs, race recaps, and even a 50 states half marathon challenge if you’re looking for even more content.
