DreamWorks’ ‘Trolls’ become newest theme of Running Universal at Universal Studios Hollywood
Universal Studios Hollywood is kicking off its next Running Universal race with a brand-new theme: DreamWorks’ “Trolls”!
UPDATE – 03/20/20: The “Trolls”-themed Running Universal Race planned for April 26, 2020 at Universal Studios Hollywood has been cancelled due to the ongoing global health crisis.
A full refund for participants’ registration and unused park tickets and passes (as applicable) will be automatically issued to the original payment method.

Runners will take to the park streets on Sunday, April 26, 2020 for a 5K, a Kids’ 1K, and a 10K run. Participants will make their way through the backlot while being entertained by their favorite characters from the 2016 animated film and the upcoming sequel, “Trolls World Tour.”
Character appearances will include Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond, as well as Shrek, Princess Fiona, and Puss in Boots; Po and Tigress; and Alex and King Julien.
All participants will receive a collectible “Trolls” drawstring backpack, a Running Universal T-shirt, and finisher medal. The event will come to a close at Universal CityWalk with a celebration at the 5 Towers Stage.
Registration is now open, but space is limited. Ticket types include Standard, VIP, and Play All Day, which includes one-day admission to Universal Studios Hollywood that can be used up to a week after the event. All ticket packages include complimentary parking and post-race refreshments and beverages.
