SeaWorld AfterDark Returns this Summer

Just two days following the official grand opening of its new Manta roller coaster, SeaWorld launches its nighttime entertainment series called AfterDark, running nightly from May 23 through September 7, 2009.

Returning this year is the popular Shamu Rocks show, combining killer whales with a light show and upbeat music. Reflections offers guests exciting fireworks, fountains and plenty of music. For the first time, the park’s Bayside Stadium will offer guests seating to enjoy the show. Sea Lions Tonight brings comedy to SeaWorld with a pair of star sea lions called Clyde and Seamore.

These three shows are all included with SeaWorld admission.

In addition, the separately-priced Makahiki Luau Dinner and Show takes place at night, full of Polynesian flair including Pacific Isle cuisine and fire dances. Admission includes live entertainment, a choice of family-style entrees, dessert and soft drinks. Each guest also receives a flower lei and a tropical drink. The dinnier/show costs $46 for adults (ages 10+) and $29 for children (ages 3-9).
