SeaWorld’s Electric Ocean returns, starting Memorial Day Weekend

SeaWorld’s popular Electric Ocean returns to the park starting May 28, adding two new attractions and four new dining options to the fan-favorite event, plus a spectacular full-length fireworks show that will light up the night.

SeaWorld Electric Ocean fireworks

SeaWorld’s annual event, Electric Ocean, returns to the park on weekends from May 28 – Sept. 6, ushering in longer summertime park hours highlighted by dazzling lights, electrifying dance music, and a night-time vibe the whole family will enjoy.

After a slightly modified version in 2020, Electric Ocean Remix, this year’s party is bigger and better than ever, with six additional entertainment and dining options:

Electric Current will get the party started in The Waterfront area of the park, as SeaWorld’s DJ hosts a “dance party beneath the waves.” Hot music and cool dancers make this a sizzling way to start the evening.

SeaWorld Rescue Tails

Rescue Tails educational presentation will remind visitors of the real purpose behind SeaWorld, which is a commitment to animal care and rescue. Guests will meet some of the park’s animal ambassadors, including raptors, primates, and reptiles, and learn each of their stories. Shows will take place at the Seaport Theater Friday-Sunday during Electric Ocean.

Altitude Burgers is one of four new dining spots, with its unique Build-A-Burger menu option, where diners choose the type of burger they’d like (cheeseburger, grilled chicken, or bacon cheeseburger), and which sauce and side dish they prefer. Also available are pizza, kids’ meals, beverages, and beer.

Edy’s Ice Cream Parlor makes your sweet-tooth take notice. A scoop or two of Edy’s ice cream keeps Electric Ocean’s hot summer nights cool and refreshing. Choose from 14 flavors, as a scoop, waffle cone, shake, monster shake, or sundae.

Lakeside Grill brings a Mediterranean flair to SeaWorld, with a modern twist on burgers, fish, nachos, and kebabs. Soak up the outdoor patio’s waterfront setting or dine in air-conditioned comfort.

Glacier Bar offers the ultimate chill-out on a balmy Florida evening. Imbibe in alcohol-infused Icees, craft cocktails, frozen daiquiris, or ice-cold beers and seltzers. Small bites such as sliders, truffle pizza, and peppered brisket waffle fries round out the menu.

Long-time Electric Ocean attractions also return during the event:

Club Sea Glow is the place to party as a DJ mixes music that gets the whole family out on the dance floor. Dancers and high-energy atmospheric elements add to the electric vibe, starting at 8 p.m. each night of the event.

SeaWorld Electric Ocean Elmo Rocks

Elmo Rocks has the younger set in mind as popular Sesame Street characters Elmo, Zoe, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Bert, and Ernie audition for The Rockin’ Elmo Band after their favorite band cancels a concert. Kids (and adults) will be dancing in the aisles as the friends perform the greatest rock concert ever. Shows take place in the Nautilus Theater during Electric Ocean nights.

SeaWorld Electric Ocean Ignite fireworks

Ignite marks the return of fireworks finales in Central Florida after more than a year’s hiatus. This nighttime spectacular brings the brilliant colors of the sea to the park, with fabulous fireworks and stunning fountain effects. The show is visible from all around the central lake, starting at 10 p.m. each night of the event.

Park hours will be extended during Electric Ocean, which is free with SeaWorld admission. Arrive early, stay late, and immerse in a playful world of glowing sea creatures and energetic dancers in this party beneath the waves.
