SeaWorld San Antonio’s Howl-O-Scream celebrates 20 years of fear
For 22 nights from Sept. 17 through Oct. 31, SeaWorld San Antonio will descend into the shadows with the return of Howl-O-Scream for its 20th year.
Families can enjoy the fun of Spooktacular during the day, but once the sun goes down, the park will transform into a horror-filled haunt with even scarier scare zones, expanded terror-tories, and a brand-new haunted house.
Beyond the haunts, entertainment can be found onstage with “Monster Stomp!” at the Nautilus Theater, featuring a live band, singers, and dancers. Those who thirst for terror can quench themselves with a cocktail at one of the park’s signature Halloween bars, or take a ride on one of the park’s roller coasters alongside fearsome ghouls in the dark.
SeaWorld’s Spooktacular is available to enjoy during the day, with family-friendly activities like a hay maze, dance party, a Halloween parade, in-park trick-or-treating, and a pumpkin patch picnic. In addition, a new area themed to Día de los Muertos has been added. But come 7 p.m., the park will transition to Howl-O-Scream. Both events are free with regular admission to SeaWorld San Antonio.
