See the new Electrical Sky Parade drone show at Disneyland Paris

Step aside Main Street Electrical Parade; there’s a brand new version of the iconic nighttime spectacular, but this one (aptly named the Electrical Sky Parade) is in the skies above Disneyland Paris Resort.

On Jan. 8, 2024, Disneyland Paris debuted the “Disney Electrical Sky Parade.” The all-new nighttime show honors the Main Street Electrical Parade by illuminating the sky with approximately 500 drones parading over Sleeping Beauty Castle in the form of floats, including the Mickey and Friends’ train, Elliot from “Pete’s Dragon,” and Cinderella’s carriage.

Leave it to Disneyland Paris – a theme park known for its unbelievable drone shows – to turn the nostalgic Main Street Electrical Parade into something modern and exciting. The catchy electro-synth-magnetic music has also been remixed for the show.

The Disney Electrical Sky Parade will run until Sept. 30, 2024.

Two More “Colourful” Experiences Coming to Disneyland Paris

The “Disney Electrical Sky Parade” is part of Disneyland Paris’ “Disney Symphony of Colours” program that’s all about adding color to France’s cloudy winter days, with two new experiences launching on Feb. 10, 2024.

“A Million Splashes of Colour” (Feb. 10-Sept. 30, 2024) –  A colorful, musical daytime show celebrating the animated films from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios, with a host of characters and 30 dancers.

“Blooming in Colours” (Feb. 10-May 5, 2024) – Thanks to Pixie Dust sprinkled by Tinker Bell and her twin sister, Periwinkle, Main Street U.S.A. will be transformed with colorful new decorations, twinkling lights, and flowery touches that “wake up winter.”

Disneyland Paris will also see the reopening of its Disneyland Hotel on Jan. 25, 2024. Plus, “Alice & The Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland” – a new stage show offering a modern twist on the classic tale – opens in the spring of 2024.
