New ‘The Simpsons in 4D’ attraction coming to Myrtle Beach later this year

A new dimension of family fun is coming to Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach tourist district this year with a new attraction, The Simpsons in 4D.

Step into the world of The Simpsons with this new attraction coming to Myrtle Beach.

This new experience will feature Springfield’s Aztec Theater and the classic Kwik-E-Mart! Guests will get to rub elbows with the town’s residents, including the Simpsons themselves.

The Kwik-E-Mart portion is now open to guests, where they can visit the fully themed, iconic convenience store that sells a variety of products – including Buzz Cola, Heat-Lamp Hot Dogs, and Lard Lad Donuts.

Guests can quench their thirst with a selection of Squishee flavors inspired by “The Simpsons.” In addition to these offerings, the Kwik-E-Mart also has a variety of food and beverage options, along with “The Simpsons” merchandise.

The Aztec Theater is set to open later this year, and this ticketed attraction will include a fully-themed lobby and theater experience. Guests will join Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie in a new 4D adventure.

Included with all tickets to the attraction will be a Hollywood-style souvenir photo that will give fans their chance to experience 15 minutes of fame on the red carpet.

“We are thrilled to bring ‘The Simpsons’ to Myrtle Beach in a way that this incredible brand deserves,” said Michael Needham, founder and CEO of SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment, who helped bring this attraction to life. “Launching this experience will be the culmination of years of passionate effort to bring ‘The Simpsons’ to life beyond the screen. We are creating a series of memorable moments enriched with tremendous detail throughout the attraction so that guests feel they are a part of ‘The Simpsons’ universe.”

Complete waste of money. Over $60 bucks for 10 minutes long show. Would never recommend!
