Sing along with Cynthia and Ariana at a ‘Wicked’ Sing-Along

When the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked hit theaters on Nov. 22, 2024, fans could barely contain the urge to sing their favorite songs (and many didn’t), but now “Wicked” audiences have permission to sing loud and proud during “Wicked” Sing-Along screenings at AMC, Cinemark, and Regal movie theaters.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in Wicked

Starting on Christmas Day, aspiring Elphabas, Glindas, and Fiyeros can attend designated “Wicked” Sing-Along showtimes where nobody will shush them for belting with Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey (“Bridgerton”), or the rest of the star-studded cast that includes Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones,” “Elf”), Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh (“Everything Everywhere All at Once,” “Shang Chi and the Ten Rings,” “Crazy Rich Asians”), Jeff Goldblum (“Jurassic Park,” “Independence Day”), Bowen Yang (“Saturday Night Live”), Keala Settle (“The Greatest Showman”), and Tony nominee Ethan Slater (SpongeBob SquarePants).

For those who haven’t seen the movie or the show, here’s a quick synopsis:

The untold story of the witches of Oz, stars Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Color Purple) as Elphaba, a young woman misunderstood because of her green skin who has yet to discover her true power, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, a popular young woman gilded by privilege who has yet to discover her true heart.

The two meet as students at Shiz University in the fantastical Land of Oz and forge an unlikely but profound friendship. Following an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads and their lives take very different paths. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfill their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

“Wicked” is rated PG and has a runtime of 2 hours 41 minutes – and just a reminder, this is only Part One; Part Two titled “Wicked: For Good” is scheduled to premiere on Nov. 21, 2025.
