On Sunday, Oct. 27, owners can dress their dogs up in their best Halloween costume and bring them to the park. Participation is open to the public, but each dog owner will have to sign a safety waiver during the registration process.

After registration, there will be a course set up in the park where the dogs will walk around for approximately one mile. There will be water bowl stations and photo-ops set up along the route, as well. The one-mile walk will end at the Dare Devil Dive stage, next to the Dare Devil Dive roller coaster in the USA section of the park.

After a short break, the dogs will then be lined up behind the scenes on one of the back roads at Six Flags Over Georgia to begin a Dog Halloween Costume Parade. Each dog and their owners will walk across the stage in front of a panel of judges, with awards being given to the “Top Dog” costumes.

Six Flags Over Georgia asks that each dog owner brings one five-pound bag of dog food per dog to participate. The park will then donate the bags of food to their charity partner for 2019, PAWS Atlanta.

Registration for the 6th annual Spooky Walk-N-Wag begins at 10:30 a.m., with the walk taking place at 11:15 a.m. and the costume contest at 12 p.m.
