Six Flags St. Louis celebrates 50 years of fun this summer

Six Flags St. Louis is celebrating its 50-year anniversary June 5 through July 24. New photo ops, a Memory Museum and Anniversary Emporium will be making their debut to honor the park’s anniversary.

In the Memory Museum, guests can see the park’s history on display in the Palace Theater Lobby. Vintage uniforms, past events, milestones and more will be featured.

At the Anniversary Emporium in the Palace Gardens, guests can purchase 50th anniversary-themed shirts, cups, pins and more. Guests can even purchase throwback items the park used to sell in 1971, like paper flowers and balloons.

New entertainment options will also debut during the celebrations. Two new shows will be taking place on the Palace Porch. The Golden Celebration show will include hits from different decades to reminisce on the past 50 years. The new interactive Dance Party show will have dancing, games and other surprises.

Bugs Bunny will be returning to the celebrate the park’s anniversary, and is available for socially-distanced photo-ops with guests at the Palace Gardens. Guests can meet the toon icon Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the 50-day celebration. For more information on show details, click here.
