Sky Hawk family swing ride coming to Fun Spot America
Fun Spot America in Orlando lives up to its tagline, “It’s HUGE,” with the addition of the Sky Hawk 90-foot-high family swing ride, offering two exhilarating ways to ride.
Fun Spot will become “HUGE-er” with the May 2021 debut of Sky Hawk swing ride, which will bring the park’s total ride number to 31.
Riders will ascend to a height of 90 feet for a bird’s-eye view of the park as the swing rotates at 10 revolutions per minute. Up to 24 passengers at a time can ride, choosing from either traditional two-passenger side-by-side seating or the thrilling two-passenger side-by-side horizontal (prone) seats.
CEO John Arie Jr. says, “We’re excited to offer our guests this thrilling new ride. The addition will make a visit to our park even more memorable for families!”
Located between the White Lightning and Freedom Flyer roller coasters, Sky Hawk’s programable LED lighting package makes it even more striking at night, as it illuminates the amusement park’s skyline.
