Slide straight into the ocean with SeaDream Yacht Club’s new inflatable slide

SeaDream II, one of SeaDream Yacht Club’s twin mega-yachts, has made a major splash with its brand-new inflatable slide that offers adventurers a 23-foot-long ride from the ship’s activity deck straight into the ocean.

“SeaDream is always looking for opportunities to enhance our guest experience,” said Andreas Brynestad of SeaDream Yacht Club. “Slides have become popular aboard yachts and we know that our guests will enjoy this new amenity on their SeaDream yachting vacation. This can be a more fun way for guests to enjoy the beautiful waters of the exclusive harbors and secluded ports we visit, as well as reach our retractable marina to enjoy the water-sports activities we offer.”

The slide deploys from the luxury yacht’s pool deck, located 5.9 meters (19 feet) above the waterline.

Guests aboard current sailings in the Mediterranean will experience exclusive destinations available only to yachts and small vessels, and can enjoy the slide while the ship’s retractable marina is deployed.

Sister ship SeaDream I will also feature an inflatable slide when it launches its upcoming Caribbean season.

The boutique ships accommodate up to 56 couples during seven- to 15-day sailings. Fares include special services, activities, watersports equipment, gourmet dining, premium wine and beverages, and gratuities.
