Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run welcomes 1 millionth rider at Disneyland

Earlier this week, Disneyland Resort celebrated the one-millionth new recruit for Ohnaka Transport Solutions to experience Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Cast members were on-hand to welcome the Ridgeway family from Ocean Springs, Miss., who ended up being the lucky family in question. Jonathan Ridgeway, age 8, climbed aboard the famous hunk of space junk with mom Becky, dad Roger, and brother Logan, age 4.

The family was able to explore the ship’s lounge and main hold in the queue of Smuggler’s Run, took photos at the Dejarik table, and got a surprise visit from Chewbacca! After that, Jonathan took his seat as co-pilot of the Falcon; a dream come true for many Star Wars fans.
