Camp Snoopy and Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers coaster now open at Kings Island
A new Camp Snoopy area featuring Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers family boomerang roller coaster opened May 24, 2024 at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio.

Forward and Backward with Snoopy
The coaster travels forward and backward along its track, reaching speeds of up to 36 mph on Kings Island’s 16th roller coaster.

Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers takes the classic fun of a soap box racing derby to a whole new level. … As Snoopy waves his flag, riders will be released and launched forward onto a track full of exhilarating twists and turns, passing the camp lookout station, racing toward the finish line up ahead. And, just as they think they are about to cross it, the entire train of soap box cars will roll backward, traversing the same course, now in reverse!
Kings Island
Guests must be at least 38 inches tall to ride, or 48 inches tall to ride without a chaperone.
Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers was built by manufacturer Vekoma. The attraction debuted as part of Camp Snoopy, an expansion of the park’s Planet Snoopy area. Also now open is Beagle Scout Acres, a children’s play area, and Pigpen’s Mess Hall restaurant.

Another boomerang-style attraction, Good Gravy! Family Coaster, opened earlier this month at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Ind. Within the coaster’s storyline, riders perform the epic task of saving a Thanksgiving dinner in peril. Take a ride on Good Gravy! in this video from our YouTube channel:
