SpongeBob popcorn buckets at Regal, AMC, Cinemark movie theaters

Regal will sell a popcorn bucket / drink container combo shaped like SpongeBob in a movie theater seat. SpongeBob is dressed like a pirate, just like in his new film.

Regal also has a cube-shaped tin that says “Walk the Plank” across it, along with illustrations of characters from the movie. Cups featuring SpongeBob and Patrick toppers are also available at Regal.

AMC’s “SpongeBob Movie” popcorn bucket is shaped like a rowboat commanded by SpongeBob himself. AMC will also sell cups with SpongeBob and Patrick’s entire faces and wardrobe integrated into the design of the cup.

At Cinemark, guests can purchase a “SpongeBob Movie” popcorn bucket shaped like a treasure chest, or cups shaped like SpongeBob and Patrick as pirates.

“The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants” is in theaters Dec. 19, 2025. Paramount’s official synopsis reads:

SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends set sail in their biggest, all-new, can’t miss cinematic event ever, “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.” Desperate to be a big guy, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman — a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate — on a seafaring comedy-adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before.

The film stars regulars Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick, and Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, plus Mark Hamill, Ice Spice, and Regina Hall.
