Spooky Empire has announced a spooky pop-up event

Spooky Empire is one of the most respected horror event promotions companies in the U.S. with two of the most popular horror conventions in the nation. When COVID-19 forced the cancellation of both events for 2020, it looked like fans would have to wait until next year to get their horror fix. But have no fear—or more likely, some fear—because Spooky Empire has decided “we can all use a little Spooky in our lives sooner than later,” so they’ve announced an exclusive pop-up event on Dec. 12 and 13, 2020.

According to the website, the two-day event at the Wyndham Orlando Resort will be “intimate in nature […], monster-ous at heart, and jam-packed with Spooky Empire love and vibes.” With a focus on celebrity autographs, meet and greets, and vendors, it’s also the perfect opportunity to get some shopping in just in time for the holidays.

If you can’t wait until December, there’s already new merch available, including the 2020 official Spooky Empire Halloween shirt with “Spook-Tacular” vintage Halloween artwork by graphic designer and video game creative director, Andrew Cremeans. The pop-up event will be on Dec. 12, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Dec. 13, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission can only be purchased online (no tickets will be sold at the door). Click here to purchase tickets.

The dates for next year’s full-scale Spooky Empire events are Apr. 30 – May 2, 2021, at the Wyndham Orlando Resort and Oct. 22 – 24, 2021, and the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Click here for more information.
