Spooky Empire Horror Convention coming to Orlando this June
The country’s biggest horror/sci-fi convention, Spooky Empire, will be in Orlando, Fla. from June 20-22, 2025 at the Doubletree by Hilton at SeaWorld.

Horror fans will be able to attend this 2025 Camp Spooky event at the Doubletree by Hilton at SeaWorld. From celebrity guest appearances, to costume contests, vendors, panels, and more. There will be plenty of spooky fun to fill an entire weekend.
In addition to a hauntingly good time, a tattoo festival with over 70 artists will be there. Meanwhile, the vendor area will have over 150 vendors selling all the awesome spooky things you never knew you needed. From clothing, to collectibles, art, décor, and more.
A highlight of every convention are the celebrity guests. At Spooky Empire, photo ops will be available, as well as autograph opportunities and panels with said guests. It’s always a great time hearing a behind-the-scenes story from one of your favorite movies or shows, told by the star of it.
Many different celebrity guests will be in attendance at Spooky Empire
- Danny Elfman – The composer of many film scores, including “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Edward Scissorhands.” He is also the creator of Epic Universe’s Dark Universe score.
- Simon Pegg – Co-writer and star of “Shawn of the Dead,” “Hot Fuzz,” “The World’s End” and more. Also seen in the show “The Boys” on Amazon Prime.
- Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl – From “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs,” in which they hilariously review cult and B-Movies.
- Malcolm McDowell – Star of “A Clockwork Orange,” “Caligula,” “Star Trek-Generations,” and more.
- Chris Sarandon – From “The Princess Bride,” “Child’s Play,” and many other films; also the voice of Jack Skellington from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

Spooky Empire guests can also meet the stars of “Happy Death Day,” “Re-Animator,” “Sleepaway Camp,” and much, much more. In addition to celebrity panels, the members from Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights crew will be there. For more guests, and what days they will be there, consult the official Spooky Empire website.
