Full food and beverage menu for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge offers new, exotic flavors

The food and drink offerings in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will play a huge role in immersing guests in the world of Black Spire Outpost when it opens on May 31 at Disneyland and Aug. 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The Disney Parks food and beverage creative teams worked together with Walt Disney Imagineering to create this unique and diverse menu for the new land. 

As a remote planet on the edge of space, Batuu has a lower population and has a “farm-to-table” feel that’s found in more rural communities. The food and drinks in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge imply a more ancient culture, with traditional fare passed down from generation to generation.

Oga’s Cantina serves as the main watering hole for the land and is the heart of Black Spire Outpost. Here, guests can gather and enjoy exotic beverages like the spicy Bloody Rancor, the foaming Fuzzy Tauntaun, and the fruity Carbon Freeze.

Ronto Roasters, named for the animals on Tatooine, can be recognized by the giant podracing engine that fires up a barbecue pit. When guests line up to order, they’ll encounter a former smelter droid, 8D-J8, who turns the spit of meats. The stall’s signature Ronto Wrap has flavors similar to roasted pork and grilled sausage, and the specialty drink Tatooine Sunset will remind them of gourmet flavored iced tea and lemonade. 

The Milk Stand will offer both Blue and Green Milk, local favorites of the residents of Batuu. Both drinks offer a frozen blend of exotic tastes and fruity accents – but the Green Milk has a bit more of a bite.

Over at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs’ transport shuttle rests atop the restaurant as a mobile kitchen and restaurant, making the hangar into Tuggs’ Grub. The chef travels from system to system to fill his pantry with unique ingredients to make new and unusual dishes, like Smoked Kaadu Ribs, Fried Endorian Tip-yip and Batuu-bon for dessert.

Mobile ordering will be available for guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland through the park’s official app – specifically at Ronto Roasters, Milk Stand, and Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
