Bright Suns! On Feb. 19, 2021, the Star Wars Trading Post will be the go-to place for all things Star Wars at the Disneyland Resort.

The new Star Wars Trading Post will be located at the west end of the Downtown Disney District in the building formerly occupied by Rainforest Café. Walt Disney Imagineers have created a design inspired by a hidden jungle Resistance base, complete with Rey’s iconic speeder prominently displayed at the entrance.

Inside, guests will find a wide variety of merchandise from every corner of the galaxy. From robes, apparel, and lightsabers to creatures, souvenirs, and toys, the trading post will feature items from the Star Wars franchise as well as “The Mandalorian” series on Disney+ – including a Paddy Frog light-up sipper and the new streetwear collection inspired by the breakout star of “The Mandalorian,” Grogu (aka the Child).

Galactic travelers will also be able to shop for merchandise that was exported straight from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge inside Disneyland park. Select items from the planet of Batuu will also be available on shopDisney.

One particularly unique offering is the Batuuan Spira, a highly-themed Disney Gift Card available for $4.99 plus tax in addition to the chosen activation amount (minimum activation of $100). This Batuuan coin—the ancient currency of Black Spire Outpost—can be used at select participating locations throughout the Disneyland Resort and makes a perfect keepsake.

Disneyland Legacy Passholders will have an exclusive opportunity to make a reservation for a Star Wars Trading Post special preview event from Feb. 16-18, 2021. This opportunity will be subject to availability, capacity, and restrictions, and may be changed or canceled without notice. Additional information will be available on Feb. 9, 2021.
