The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser continues to add more enhancements to its immersive two-night, three-day experience. The latest add-on activity is face painting done by Chandrila Star Line’s “image designers.”
The makeovers turn guests of the Starcruiser into some of their favorite alien species from Star Wars — from black and red warrior designs like Darth Maul to elegant white swirls on top of bright orange paint like Ahsoka Tano’s species, the Togrutas.
There are at least a dozen options to choose from and they range from simple designs and colors to full-blown colorful paint that covers guests’ faces. And since only partial face covering is allowed in Walt Disney World Resort, there are several designs with a “Batuu Approved” symbol so you can still sport your new look during your excursion to Black Spire Outpost.
“We wouldn’t want you to miss out on any of the fun at Black Spire Outpost, so please remember that only partial face covering is allowed there and in the parks. When you’re browsing the design options, look for the blue “Batuu Approved” symbol to determine if your look is permitted,” the Starcruiser website states.

According to the Starcruiser’s webpage for add-ons, the makeover is by appointment and is done in the entry area of your cabin. The transformation takes about 30 minutes, and guests must be at least seven years old.
The experience only includes paint — not any extra accessories or costumes. So, if you want to fully transform into a Togruta or a Twi’lek, you’ll have to purchase your lekku separately. Star Wars costumes and accessories are available to Starcruiser guests up to 60 days before they board the Halcyon at shopDisney.com.
The new face painting experience begins May 2, 2022. To book, call the Galactic Starcruiser Specialist at 407-939-1800 to add the experience between 60 days and one day before your trip.
Other Starcruiser add-ons include the Captain’s Table dinner, a CSL photo experience, Oga’s Cantina reservations, and building custom lightsabers or droids at Black Spire Outpost. Learn more about those here.
