To celebrate the lovable and mischievous “Experiment 626,” also known as Stitch, Shanghai Disneyland’s Tomorrowland will be home to the Stitch Space Base starting today! As of June 26, also known as “6/26 Day,” this new neighborhood inside the park is a vibrant new area showcasing fun elements inspired by Stitch and friends. These include photo ops, themed food, and of course: lots of Stitch merchandise.

The experience begins with a marquee area that features a teleporter post, connecting to Stitch’s spaceship. This is how he will be able to travel back and forth to Tomorrowland with ease! Guests will be able to see Stitch climbing on the post, with a dynamic temper meter tracking his mischievous antics in real-time.

Guests can also enjoy video chats with Experiment 626 through Space Chat with Stitch, while also enjoying themed dining and shopping experiences at Star Trail Snacks and Intergalactic Imports. Additionally, guests can meet Stitch, Lilo, or Angel at Galaxy Gathering. Later this autumn, the adventure continues with the opening of the Galaxy Play Lab, an interactive game zone that will complement Stitch’s takeover.
