As Walt Disney World continues to reopen its offerings that were closed or altered by the pandemic, the resort has announced the return of Story Book Dining at Artist Point, along with other delicious additions.
Inspired by the Disney animated film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” Story Book Dining will reopen on Dec. 16 at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Reservations can be made starting today, Dec. 2.
As part of the “new” Character Dining Experience, guests will see Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and The Queen as they stroll through the Enchanted Forest, all while enjoying a prix fixe dinner with the choice of individually-plated entrées and shared starters and desserts.
Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will reopen for dinner starting Dec. 14. Reservations for this restaurant can also be made starting today, Dec. 2.
Over at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, guests can enjoy the 50th Celebration Shake, a birthday cake-flavored milkshake drizzled in gold glitter glaze topped with a slice of commemorative 50th celebration birthday cake.
Those looking for a little more “bang” in their breakfast can head to Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for the “Dynamite” Cinnamon Roll Sticks. Each order has five fiery red sticks filled with cinnamon schmear sprinkled with crushed red-hot candies and a drizzle of cinnamon oil, served with a warm candied nut glaze. And the wick to this dynamite? It’s bacon!
The White Chocolate Peppermint Cream Cheese Mousse with peppermint sauce and chocolate cookie crumbles will be offered at Satu’li Canteen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom from Dec. 20-27, just in time for the holidays.
La Crêperie de Paris is now taking reservations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tucked into the France pavilion at Epcot, this table service restaurant serves savory galettes and sweet dessert crêpes, along with some of Brittany’s famous hard ciders.
At Magic Kingdom, guests can find two new offerings for The World’s Most Magical Celebration. Over at Main Street Bakery, the Opening Day Celebration Cake is available, with milk chocolate mousse, a raspberry center, and gluten-friendly chocolate cake topped with balloon sprinkles and a chocolate piece.
At Storybook Treats, guests can enjoy the Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cone featuring Grumpy! This cranberry vanilla soft-serve in a cone features a chocolate belt buckle and a Grumpy chocolate face — but is only available through Jan. 9, 2022.
Another new treat at Magic Kingdom is the Black Forest Cheesecake at Pinocchio Village Haus, only offered through Jan. 9. This chocolate cheesecake comes topped with cherry compote, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and a white chocolate coin inspired by the “it’s a small world” attraction.
At Walt Disney World’s water parks, three new treats will be on offer from Dec. 12 – Jan. 7:
- Orange Bird Holiday Citrus Swirl – Dole Whip Orange and Lime swirl in a holiday waffle cone, and a white chocolate Orange Bird Santa (available at Warming Hut)
- Merry Merry Melon – Melon- and apple-flavored frozen rum cocktail with a red sugared rim topped with a cherry (available at Frostbite Freddie’s)
