‘Sublime!’ Atlantis Paradise Island to host Barbie-themed summer
Your summer job can be “beach” during “Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True,” a special event coming soon to Atlantis Paradise Island.
Mattel will collaborate with Atlantis to introduce a slate of Barbie-themed experiences at the resort, located in the Bahamas.
“Atlantis is unmatched in offering top-of-the-line experiences, a commitment to consumers and fans that we deeply value at Mattel,” said Julie Freeland, senior director of location-based entertainment at Mattel.
Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation
Guests will be able to participate in multiple limited-time offerings during the event.
- “Barbie’s Bahamas Beach Vacation – The Immersive Experience” will be a walk through attraction with larger-than-life play sets, photo ops, “real” mermaids, and more.
- Select guest rooms and cabanas will be decked out in Barbie theming.
- Sun & Ice, a café, will transform into “a Barbie culinary adventure” with a special menu and décor. Other activities will include Barbie-focused cooking classes at the resort’s kids club, as well as Barbie movie nights at the pool and in the onsite theater.
Barbie’s Bahamas Beach Vacation: Where Atlantis Dreams Come True will begin Memorial Day Weekend 2024 and continue all summer long.
Barbie Event “Meant to be Enjoyed by All Generations”
The Barbie-filled summer “is meant to be enjoyed by all generations, and will offer a range of accessible experiences,” said Audrey Oswell, president and managing director of Atlantis Paradise Island. “We are a resort that has a long history of delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests and firsts to the Bahamas. Barbie fits that bill.”
Atlantis Paradise Island is comprised of five lodging accommodations, a water park, and a marine habitat. Book a stay at Atlantis Paradise Island here.
