Super Nintendo World soft opens at Universal Studios Hollywood
Surprise! Universal Studios Hollywood guests were able to experience Super Nintendo World much sooner than expected when the highly-anticipated land soft opened today.
Although Super Nintendo World was open to all park guests today, exclusive Annual Passholder previews will take place on select dates from Jan. 29-Feb. 11, 2023, ahead of the land’s official grand opening on Feb. 17th.
We were able to get a look at the themed Toadstool Cafe:
With a new themed land comes new themed food, merchandise and drink options as well.

For those that purchase Power-Up Bands, the top players of the day are shown off in the land.
We also get a close look at the current Power-Up Bands for sale at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The land’s signature ride – “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge” – is open today; however, as with any soft open, the land can close at any time, and all rides and attractions may not be available.
