Take a free behind-the-scenes tour at four of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s major roller coaster

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is offering free behind-the-scenes tours of four fan-favorite coasters on August 13-16, 2022, in honor of National Roller Coaster Day.

Guest can sign up at the Serengeti Outpost on the day of their visit to join one of four tours, each of which include a Q&A with the ambassadors who work on the rides, along with a look at maintenance areas guests usually are not allowed to enter.

Roller coaster tours visit SheiKra, Cheetah Hunt, Cobra’s Curse, or the park’s newest coaster, Iron Gwazi, the fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in America.

Once signed up for a tour, guests will receive a ticket that shows their ride choice and tour time. Tickets are granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Tours take place at noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. and space is limited on each tour.

From August 1 -14, 2022, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is celebrating the end of summer by offering buy-one, get-one single-day tickets.
