Sunshine Flyer Direct offers private airport transportation to Walt Disney World

The Sunshine Flyer themed motorcoach service recently added Sunshine Flyer Direct, a new transportation option that allows guests to book private transportation from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to their Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

The Sunshine Flyer started offering themed motorcoach transportation from MCO to Walt Disney World hotels in February 2022, with large motorcoaches themed to old-fashioned passenger rail cars and train engines. From the design of the buses to the staff’s outfits, the Sunshine Flyer creates the image of 1920s rail travel.

In addition to that service, customers can now book private transportation, which the company says, is in response to Sunshine Flyer guests who’ve expressed a desire for private transportation to their preferred Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Guests can select a sedan, luxury SUV, or sprinter van and choose their desired pick-up time. Drivers will meet guests at any terminal at Orlando International Airport (including the new Terminal C), and will handle all luggage, including meeting guests at the baggage claim to assist with bags.

“We listen to our guests, and we know that offering direct, private transportation is extremely important to them,” said Sunshine Flyer Vice President Tony Glibkowski. “Sunshine Flyer Direct guests can expect the same high-level of attention to detail and care as our namesake, but now with the opportunity in direct, private transfers.”

Just like the themed motorcoashes, Sunshine Flyer Direct vehicles are equipped for children with three-point harness seat belts at each seat. Kids will also be provided with stickers, coloring/activity books, and conductor hats.  

The cost of this service varies based on the type of vehicle you select.

One-Way Transportation:

• Sedan (up to 3 passengers) – $120.00
• Luxury SUV (up to 6 passengers max) – $145.00
• Sprinter Van (up to 10 passengers) – $160.00

Roundtrip Transportatiuon:

• Sedan (up to 3 passengers – $240.00
• Luxury SUV (up to 6 passengers) – $290.00
• Sprinter Van (up to 10 passengers) – $320.00

Gratuity not included in ticket prices, and a 10% Airport Fee will be added to all pick ups at MCO Airport. Click here for more information about booking.
