Theme Park Best: Top 3 rides at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
We ask you, our readers, to vote for your favorite food, ride, land, or activity at theme parks around the world every week. This time, we’re ranking the top 3 rides at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World.
For the purpose of this poll, we evaluated all the rides in the park, from big to small. We then read through each answer you shared on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube and compiled the top three.
These are the official winners for top 3 rides at Disney’s Animal Kingdom:
3. Avatar Flight of Passage
Avatar Flight of Passage, the high-flying immersive 4D flight simulator is located in the Pandora: The World of Avatar area has a height requirement of 44 inches. This is one of the highest-rated attractions in Walt Disney World history. Flight of Passage features a highly-detailed queue, two pre-shows, and a straddle seat motion simulator experience. This attraction isn’t for the faint of heart as it closely mimics dives, twists, and turns on the back of an Ikran (Pandora style of dragon).
2. Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, the tallest ride in all of Walt Disney World, is located in the Asia section of the park and has a height requirement of 44 inches. This high-speed roller coaster takes riders to the mountaintop of Everest and backwards into the realm of the yeti.

Dinosaur, a step back-in-time in search of dinosaurs and adventure, is located in the DinoLand U.S.A. area of the park and has a height requirement of 40 inches. This loud, dark, and bumpy ride will take you face-to-face with carnivores, herbivores, and asteroid impacts. Hold on tight as Dr. Seeker rushes you and your vehicle into the age of the dinosaur.
