‘Theme Park Simulator’ now available on Nintendo Switch

A new video game is now available for theme park fans to get their fix while staying at home — “Theme Park Simulator” on Nintendo Switch!

UPDATE – 04/21/20: The game is now back up and available to download on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $14.99!


UPDATE – 04/17/20, 9:17 p.m. EDT: For reasons unknown, “Theme Park Simulator” has been removed from the U.S. eShop and is currently unavailable to purchase.

We will update this article should we see any changes.


Players can test out eleven rides in third or first person and manage their performance in real time by evaluating capacity, speed, direction, movement patterns, smoke and light effects, and even see the reactions of guests.

Rides in the game include the Ferris wheel, bumper cars, Wild Mouse, two roller coasters and more. Players can use their Switch’s touch screen to calibrate the speed and direction of the rides and test their guests’ endurance. Each ride also offers camera angles in first or third person.

Your guests will react in real-time to your decisions made in the simulator — you’ll hear their screams as you increase the speed or change the motion pattern of each ride — so be sure to make your choices carefully.

“Theme Park Simluator” is available now for $14.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Check out the trailer for the game below:

It says this game is supose to be released today on switch but it says it cant be purchased and its not in the new release section of nintendo store, why cant i purchase it, and what time does it come out today it still says april 17th? I want the game but it says not available for purchase so how i get the game

    1. At the time we wrote this, the game was available for purchase on the eShop (We looked to double-check the purchase price). However, it now appears that it has been removed from the eShop for reasons unknown. We will update our article accordingly.
