Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening summer 2024 at Magic Kingdom
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the log flume inspired by “The Princess and the Frog,” will open summer 2024 at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and later in 2024 at Disneyland Park in California.
Disney announced the opening dates this morning, along with a first look at one of Tiana’s Audio-Animatronics figures.
Dozens of new Audio-Animatronics characters will populate Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, including: Louis, Mama Odie, Prince Naveen, Eudora (Tiana’s mother), Charlotte (Tiana’s best friend), and Prince Ralphie (Naveen’s little brother).
Disney also installed new artwork on the walls surrounding the attraction’s construction site. Copy on the artwork reads, “Come join the party! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure | Coming summer 2024”
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure replaces Splash Mountain at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Florida closed the former attraction several months prior to its California counterpart in 2023. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will likewise debut on the east coast first.
More to Come for Frontierland and Tiana
Nearby in Florida’s Frontierland, Country Bear Musical Jamboree will also open sometime in summer 2024. The re-imagining of the original Country Bear Jamboree will include the familiar bears singing tunes from Disney movies.
Guests will be able to meet Tiana dressed in her Bayou Adventure outfit during the 1900 Park Fare character breakfast, opening this April at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
