Tiana’s Palace restaurant is coming to Disneyland
In “The Princess and The Frog,” Tiana transforms an old sugar mill into her dream restaurant called Tiana’s Palace, and soon the French Market Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park will be reimagined the same way.

Inspired by Tiana’s adventures, the quick-service restaurant will serve menu that expands on the location’s current favorites, explores seasonal flavors, and of course, features authentic New Orleans dishes.
The reimagined restaurant is the latest way Tiana’s story is being told at Disneyland, along with the new retail shop, Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets and the upcoming attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening in 2024. Guests should note that Tiana can be found in New Orleans Square, but Tiana’s Palace will not be a character dining location.
“Disney Imagineers are partnering with Disney Animation artists from the original film to bring this story to life at Disneyland park,” wrote Disneyland Public Relations Director Kelsey Lynch in the Disney Parks Blog. “In fact, the film designers took inspiration from the exterior of the original French Market Restaurant in New Orleans Square when designing Tiana’s Palace for the movie, so this is a long-dreamt homecoming.”
The French Market Restaurant and Mint Julep Bar will close on Feb. 17, 2023, in preparation for re-opening as Tiana’s Palace later this year (Mint Julep Bar will also return at that time).
