The reimagined quick-service style location (formally the French Market Restaurant) will feature Mardi Gras-inspired colors, lily details on signs, plaques, and light fixtures, and decor that offer nods to Tiana’s story, including the yellow and green awnings beneath the “Tiana’s Palace” marquee that represent the princesses formal ball gown.

Imagineers also took inspiration from the film for the restaurant’s interior, which includes a mural of the bayou, frog porcelains, the cookbooks Tiana has collected, and her father’s favorite gumbo spoon proudly on display. Plus, watch out for letters from her father and neighbors alongside a childhood photo of Tiana.

Fun Fact: Tiana’s Palace in “The Princess and the Frog” was inspired by the French Market restaurant at Disneyland. Disney Animation artists added two smokestacks to give Tiana’s restaurant an iconic silhouette, and when the new restaurant comes to life next month at Disneyland, it will feature the same additions for a real full-circle moment.

The menu will feature new items showcasing the flavors of New Orleans, with ingredients sourced directly from Louisiana whenever possible. Plus, menu items will be available for mobile order via the Disneyland app. Follow Disney Eats for a first look at the full menu.

In addition to Tiana’s Palace, the Mint Julep Bar will also return to New Orleans Square.

Eudora's Chic Boutique

Tiana’s Palace is the newest way Disneyland is telling Tiana’s story, along with Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets retail shop and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction opening in 2024.
