‘Tomb Raider Experience’ opening in Seattle fall 2024
“The Tomb Raider Experience Seattle: Escape from the Temple of Fire,” a 90-minute adventure based on the video game series, will open this fall in Seattle, Wash.
Join Lara Croft in “The Tomb Raider Experience”
The family-friendly attraction will feature action, puzzles, and live performers as the following story unfolds.
… daring adventurers will join Lara Croft on her exploration of a mysterious temple that has emerged from a volcano and help her protect the dangerous artifact hidden within its ancient walls. Journey beneath a rumbling Chilean volcano, explore an ancient temple, find clues, and solve puzzles, all while being hunted by Natla Technologies, the organization owned by Lara Croft’s nemesis, Natla. But beware: something even more dangerous than evil scientists might dwell in those forgotten halls — something huge, fiery … and hungry.
Hourglass Attractions
Teams of 1-10 players will embark upon “The Tomb Raider Experience Seattle” in a 5,000-square-foot facility located near Pike Place Market and the Seattle waterfront. The hourglass symbol in the map below indicates the attraction’s location at 1122 Post Avenue.
“A New Adventure in this Iconic Seattle Location”
“The Tomb Raider Experience Seattle: Escape from the Temple of Fire” is a collaboration between video game company Crystal Dynamics and Hourglass Attractions, a newly-formed brand extension of Hourglass Escapes (creators of the “Evil Dead 2” and “Arkham Horror: Mystery at Innsmouth” escape rooms, both also located in Seattle).
“We’ve seen what Hourglass Escapes has been able to do with other properties, and they’ve demonstrated their dedication to and passion for the Tomb Raider brand,” said Dallas Dickinson, franchise general manager for Tomb Raider at Crystal Dynamics. “It’s been a collaborative effort to put together the story for this experience, and we look forward to hearing what our fans discover in a new adventure in this iconic Seattle location.”
