Toy Story Funday Football kicks off on Disney+ and ESPN+
ESPN, Disney, and the National Football League have teamed up for a first-of-its-kind NFL game presentation – Toy Story Funday Football – where the real-time action between the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars will be experienced in the world of “Toy Story.”
The fully-animated presentation will air Sunday morning, Oct. 1, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. ET, on Disney+, ESPN+, and mobile via NFL+ as the real-life action at Wembley Stadium in London is recreated simultaneously in Andy’s room.
ESPN and Disney’s “Toy Story” alternate telecast will complement the Falcons and Jaguars’ Week 4 matchup, which will be available on ESPN+, local broadcast stations in the participating teams’ markets, and mobile with NFL+.
Toy Story Funday Football Live From Andy’s Room
Andy’s room will replicate the gameplay from Wembley, where each Falcon and Jaguar player will have an animated counterpart on a field befitting its “Toy Story” setting. Fans can see every run, pass, kick, and touchdown through state-of-the-art tracking technology enabled by the NFL’s Next Gen Stats player tracking data and Beyond Sports.
In addition, all aspects of the real-life game, including announcers, graphics, scoreboard, penalty announcements, celebrations, and more, will embrace the “Toy Story”-themed game in Andy’s room. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and other characters from the animated franchise will participate from the sidelines and in other non-gameplay elements.
Toy Story Funday Football Will Feature:
- Learning the Game – “How to” videos, trivia, and more to teach football to the audience
- Announcers – Drew Carter (play-by-play), Booger McFarland (analyst), and 12-year-old Pepper Persley (reporter), with all three fully-animated and their body movements viewed through motion-capture technology
- The Players – Real-life Falcons and Jaguar players will participate through pre-recorded segments and interviews
- “Toy Story” Characters – Joining Woody and Buzz in Andy’s room will be Bo Peep, Bullseye, Bunny, Ducky, Forky, Green Aliens, Jesse, Rex, and Slinky Dog
- Special Halftime Show – Duke Caboom will attempt a motorcycle jump
Toy Story Funday Football will be available live on Disney+ and ESPN+, with replay available shortly after the game ends on Disney+ and NFL+ for a limited time. Video on Demand will also be available 24 hours after the live broadcast ends.

I Missed it, dang gum it. i wanted to see this as much as the Game itself. But when you drink to much the nite before watching COLLEGE FOOTBALL, you tend to oversleep and forget.
