Travis Kelce named Six Flags brand ambassador for 2026

Guests visiting Six Flags parks this year will be seeing a lot more of NFL star and three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, who has signed on as an official brand ambassador for the company in 2026.

As part of the deal, Kelce will share digital content across his own social media platforms promoting the parks, while Six Flags will feature Kelce’s name, image, and likeness in broadcast media, streaming platforms, and in-park marketing.

The announcement builds on Kelce’s existing relationship with Six Flags. In October 2025, he joined activist investment firm Jana Partners and other investors in a group that acquired a roughly 9% stake in the company, worth an estimated $200 million. Financial terms of the ambassador arrangement were not disclosed, though Kelce’s role as an investor provides additional context for the partnership.

What Travis Kelce and Six Flags are saying

Six Flags President and CEO John Reilly pointed to Kelce’s personal history with the parks.

“Travis Kelce has been a lifelong fan of Six Flags, having grown up going to some of our most iconic parks with family and friends, so he is a natural ambassador to represent the Six Flags brand across North America,” Reilly said.

Kelce grew up in the Cleveland area and has spoken publicly about visiting Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, with his family as a kid. Cedar Point’s former operator, Cedar Fair, merged with Six Flags in 2024, making it part of the same company. When the investment was announced last October, Kelce posted on Instagram about wanting to make Cedar Point and Six Flags “even more special for the next generation of families.”

That same sentiment came through in today’s announcement.

“I look forward to helping them continue to build excitement for their unrivaled portfolio of parks and introduce a new generation of fans to unforgettable experiences,” Kelce said.

A company in transition

The Travis Kelce ambassador deal comes during a period of major change for Six Flags, following its 2024 merger with Cedar Fair, which made it the largest regional amusement park operator in North America.

Earlier this month, Six Flags announced it will sell seven of its parks — including Valleyfair, Worlds of Fun, Michigan’s Adventure, and four others — to EPR Properties.

The company also installed a new CEO in December 2025. John Reilly. The longtime theme park executive (with 21 years at SeaWorld) has outlined plans to raise operational quality, improve park throughput, and tailor marketing more closely to local markets.

The partnership with Travis Kelce, Six Flags said, is one of several investments the company is making in new rides, attractions, and entertainment heading into the 2026 season.
