Tryout next weekend if your family has GUTS

GUTS, the original hit game show from the 1990s, is being recreated for a new generation of families as Nick at Nite debuts “My Family’s Got GUTS”. This new competition television series will bring families together where every member of the team – from the smallest to the strongest – plays a vital role and works together to complete each challenge. The show will be filmed at Universal Orlando.

Next Saturday and Sunday, Universal CityWalk will be host to the first tryouts. Pre-registration is required to qualify. They are looking for families of four: two kids between 11 and 16, at least 56 inches tall and more than 75 pounds; and two adults older than 25, taller than 58 inches and between 100 and 250 pounds. Everyone must be related, but it doesn’t need to be two parents: aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. are OK.

At the tryouts, they’ll be testing potential competitors on a variety of physical skills including accuracy, agility, balance, coordination, strength and speed.
