Universal CityWalk in Hollywood opens Antojitos Cocina Mexicana, Vivo Italian Kitchen

Universal CityWalk in Hollywood has opened two new restaurants where guests can sip and savor foods to suit their palates: Antojitos Cocina Mexicana and Vivo Italian Kitchen.

Antojitos offers open seating, private dining rooms, and an outdoor patio where guests can be serenaded by live musical performances from local Latin artists and mariachi bands. A large bar serves as the restaurant’s centerpiece, offering a selection of handcrafted cocktails and margaritas, plus cold beer on tap.

The menu features dishes like Guacamole Trio and Chips, Carnitas Nachos, Queso Fundido, Chicharrones de Pollo, and Sopa de Tortilla, just to name a few. There are also vegetarian options available. For dessert, guests can indulge in a Chocolate Hazelnut Cream Bar, a trio of Coconut, Pear and Mango Sorbet, traditional Flan, and Churros.

Vivo Italian Kitchen features an open expo kitchen, indoor and al fresco dining, and offers both lunch and dinner menus – including items like Tuscan kale and white bean soup, creamy garlic mushroom sauté, mussels marina, and more. Prior to the meal, warm, homemade Italian bread will arrive at your table as you go through the restaurant’s menu.

Desserts include Chocolate Zucotto Vasi, Ricotta Cheesecake, Tiramisu, and homemade Gelato with rosemary-infused butter cookies. There is also a full bar with a variety of Italian-inspired cocktails and a broad wine selection.

Antojitos Cocina Mexicana and Vivo Italian Kitchen both accept reservations, and cover a percentage of valet parking at CityWalk.
