Universal CityWalk Hollywood now serving Butterbeer for the holiday season

Starting today, Nov. 20, guests can enjoy fan-favorite Butterbeer and more magical treats at Universal CityWalk Hollywood and its new seasonal walk-up location, “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Sweets & Treats.”

Traditional cold, frozen and hot Butterbeer are available, as well as Butterbeer-flavored hard pack ice cream and Chocolate Frog confections for those who have been missing the tastes of the Wizarding World. This is a first for the resort, as you could previously only get the delicious drink in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park land at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The walk-up is housed in the former location of a quick-service restaurant called LudoBird, which served fried chicken sandwiches, next to the Universal Studios Store.

The Butterbeer beverages are available for purchase either in a cup or souvenir stein, with Gilly Water and classic cinnamon churros also on the menu.

“The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Sweets & Treats” will be open on weekends, Friday through Sunday, during the regular operating hours for Universal CityWalk Hollywood, noon to 8 p.m. Free self-parking is available to all guests during this initial re-opening phase.
